What is PAC?

What is PAC?

PAC is an acronym for the Parent Advisory Council, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization. Equivalent to a PTA, the PAC consists of an advisory board group of five elected parents, in combination with our Parent Managed Cohorts, known as PMCs. We are committed to supporting school programs and education through fundraising and special events. Our role is also to enhance communication among all BRIDGES community members, including parents, students, faculty and administration.

Our PAC is currently made up of a surprisingly small percentage of parents at BRIDGES.

We encourage you to consider joining one or more of our PMCs! What is a PMC?

Parent Managed Cohorts, a.k.a. PMCs, are the organizational engines of our school. Our PMCs dedicate themselves to enhancing the school experience for not only students, but parents and administration alike. It is a wonderful way to be involved in a specific area in which you have a particular interest, and a great way to meet other parents!

Parents are encouraged to serve on the PAC as a PMC leader or member and volunteer at events, especially if they are not able to fulfill classroom volunteering.

PMC support needed:

  • Fundraising
  • Art
  • Food
  • Library
  • Grantwriting
  • Spiritwear
  • Garden and Green Team

Please contact our PAC president to get involved with our fun team of parent volunteers!
