Library PMC and Birthday Book Club

October 23-27

The library is an essential hub in the Bridges community!

Library PMC Lead:
Elizabeth Kury –

Our Library PMC supports our Fall and Spring Book Fairs, Makerspace, Birthday Book Club, Family Discovery Kits, annual StoryWalk®, Make-and-Take Crafts, Book Themed Parties, helps with the Spelling Bee and Geography Bee, and works with Ms. Rebekah to keep our library well stocked and organized.

Parent volunteers are highly valued in the Library PMC (Parent Managed Cohort). Our parent volunteers help with special Library projects, shelving books, Makerspace and Book Fairs. From creating Family Discovery Kits to helping out during Library times, there are countless ways to get involved and support the Bridges Library!

Birthday Book Club 2023-2024

Celebrate your child’s birthday and support Bridges Library at the same time!

During your child’s birthday month (or half-birthday for summer birthdays), your child will get to choose a new book to add to the library’s collection. The book will be customized with a special bookplate with your child’s name and birthday dedication and your child will get to be the first to borrow the book. At the end of the school year, we will host a pizza party celebration for all Birthday Book Club participants (one for K-5 & one for CORE)!The cost for each participating child is $25. Text BIRTHDAYBOOK to 41444 to sign up!
