Parent Advisory Council (PAC)

The purpose of the PAC is to promote close cooperation and unity of spirit among parents, faculty, administration, staff, and students, for the express benefit of BRIDGES Charter School. We will enable parents to be of service to the school, directly oversee activities and goals set forth by each Parent Managed Cohort (PMC), conduct activities for the benefit of the school and its students, and enhance communications among all constituents of the PAC, including the PMCs, faculty, administration, and students.

Fundraising for BRIDGES
Besides the services that our hardworking parents within PMCs provide to the school, the PAC also organizes fundraising events throughout the year to supplement the school's yearly budget. The PAC hosts fundraising events such as the Community Fair, Sweetheart Dinner & Silent Auction, Olympics, and much more.

Because of our intense fundraising and grantwriting efforts last year by our entire BRIDGES community, our Parent Advisory Council will be able to provide our students and staff this 2012-2013 year with over $14000 for specialists, $10,000 in technology, $7000 in school necessities, $4500 in improvements to our multi-purpose room, $4000 in environmental/outdoor improvements, $3000 in musical supplies, $3000 in special field trips, $1000 in sports equipment, plus more.
