What do you love about Bridges …. I love the fact that I get to be a whole child educator and that we get to create hands-on, meaningful projects, take exciting and adventurous field trips, and more importantly that we get to be ourselves!
What do you like to do when you are not at work…. Hobbies interest passion I have 2 children, ages 9 and 15, so I enjoy spending my precious time with them. We enjoy theme park thrills, surfing, hiking, biking, camping, paddle-boarding, time with friends, playing good old-fashion card and board games, baking yummy treats together and so much more! One thing I enjoy for “me” time is practicing my Ukelele, reading (not all of it’s curriculum!), creative writing, and going to a Yoga class:)

Ms. Tori

My favorite thing about Bridges is that students are free to express themselves in many ways. I am blessed to be able to be creative in my lesson planning and teach my students in a way that is meaningful for them. I really enjoy that we have a universal language of conflict resolution across the grades so that students are empowered to solve conflicts on their own.

When I’m not at Bridges, I like to watch sports. Particularly football and baseball but I enjoy watching all if them. I especially find joy in watching my own children play football, basketball, baseball, cheer, and dance.

Ms. Tina

My favorite thing about Bridges is…Bridges is my home and no other school would provide the community, compassion, and creativity to nurture my passion—educating Kindergarteners and their parents! Bridges has allowed me to develop a child-centered, whole child program that involves parents in the process, to allow for unmatched Science experiments, art from all mediums, dramatic play, a unique journal writing program, differentiated small group reading and math instruction and 10+ amazing field trips a year!

When I am not at Bridges I am spending time outdoors hiking or at the beach.  And going on adventures with my husband and if I’m lucky my 2 grown sons.
